Fragmented Pillar A stands as a towering sculpture reminiscent of a fractured column. Its sand-cast surface, accented by exposed bolts, draws upon architectural language, evoking the resilience of built structures while revealing the vulnerability of their decay. Stemming from the loom, the cast aluminum captures the woven form's structural imprint, emphasizing both presence and absence through its fragmented edges and voids. Through these elements, Fragmented Pillar A prompts contemplation of the boundaries we create and the passage of time, highlighting the fluid interplay between stability and fragility.
